I was wondering what would be the best fashion/hairstyle/makeup for a woman with:
--a VERY fair (almost porcelain-like) complexion
--Very dark brown hair (almost black)
--Hazel eyes
--A round, full face
--short height (about 5'2", with a medium to heavy build)
I'm 29, but because of these features (all of them have been with me since I was a child) I find it very, very difficult to be taken seriously. People almost always think I'm no older than 16-17 because I look so much younger than I am, no matter how professionally I'm dressed, styled, etc. This has hurt me at work %26amp; in relationships because people see me as a little kid...and to be honest because of this treatment I often feel like one, or at least very out of place with the rest of the world.
I'm looking for ways I can actually look my age and feel like I fit in with other adults :) Thanks in advance!
Best styles for a short, fair skinned, dark haired woman?
BOTTOM
To make you look longer, and leaner, get dark skinny jeans. They dont have to be really tight at the ankle, but flared jeans doesnt help either.
ON TOP
-V-neck top (no pattern; patterns make you look even bigger at the top.)
-V-neck casmere sweater (purple) again, no pattern
Pair your out fit with a great necklace!

Em, you were wondering what would be the best fashion/hairstyle/makeup for you , or are looking for ways that you can look your age and to fit in with other adults?
If you look carefully at your question, it is actually 2 very different things that you are asking for.
For the fashion part, I was thinking that since it has been happening to you for almost, what, 10 years? (i assumed). Then it probably meant that it is not going to help you much with you changing in to any other outfit. You will still 'look' you. Do you see that? ou have already mentioned that no matter how professionally you tried to dressed, they will your colleagues still treated you as a kid.
I'm suggesting a change in your mindset. They might have meant it as a teasing remark, because your are petite, which is good, they are taking notice of you. You can take this as a opportunity to impress them, or even to surprise them. Being petite is not wrong. It can be attractive, but you have got to show it to them, not just by dressing up. But by being irreplaceable.
What i meant was that you can be good at your job, such that the office (or wherever your work place is) will be in chaos without you, even for only one day. You do not have to dress up for this effect. Being good at what you do is enough for people to see that you are not that kiddish anymore, it might even made them see that they are actually inferior to you.
I am guessing that it will make you feel good when people start coming up to you to get work related advices. But now, remain as a humble person, make your friends like you as much as you ever were. (or summaries as: retain your popularity). In this way, they will not feel that you are a stranger. Interact with them as before (you got your answers from Yahoo! answers). You are not a stranger to them, you are always there, it is them that do not realised the potential in you, maybe till (after) now.
Well these are my 2 suggestion:1) be good at what you do to not raise doubt about your capabilities and 2) remained the friendly you ever!
I hope my answer helped. It is already a positive step that you've taken by asking this in Yahoo! answers. But as always, this is only one of the channel to seek help; go seek your friend to talk about your problem or seek professional help if you really still cannot find any solutions. Remembers your friends are alwasy around, and the helplines are always open!

I would say that a medium length, layered cut with side-swept bangs. When you have a round face it's a good idea to draw attention to the top of your hair (give a little height to make your face appear longer).
